that is amazing! I really love the way they search for particular words and from it draw a barometer of emotion.
I saw something similar that was specific to the 2004 presidential debates — these MIT guys indexed the words that the candidates were using and used their figures to draw out some interesting patterns...

It reminds me of the RIFD experiments we saw at FITC in Toronto. I potentially disgusting thing lturned into something fun and playful.
I guess it depends on who's using the information and what they’re using it for.
Regardless of the practical applications one of my favorite things is visualizing data so that new meanings and patterns can be seen.
I love all the different sorting options they’ve come up with.
